Hi, I’m Candy (nickname Candy Cane)! It may be no surprise, but I got that name because of my sweet nature. I am a nine-year-old, nine pound Shih Tzu looking for a forever family to spend all my days with. I’m a really nice, well-behaved girl who makes the perfect coffee date and especially loves curling up with my favorite person to watch any Nat Geo show. While I can never get enough cuddles, I also enjoy going on walks or really any outing. I have enough pep in my step to keep up with you and I guarantee my spunky personality will make you laugh. I’m happy to report I have a clean bill of health, am spayed, have had a dental and blood work, am microchipped, potty trained, and am up-to-date on all my vaccines. I love other dogs - in fact, I already have a best buddy named Fidel who I am hoping to be adopted with (paws crossed!), but we are also able to go into separate homes too if needed. Fidel and I came from a home where we were neglected and kept outside, but we choose to look at the bright side and are pretty much always happy!
